cape kiwanda

There are certain beaches in Oregon that are just flat out amazing. Cape Kiwanda is one of them. We have to say that it’s our favorite beach for just chilling, hanging out with friends and making a bon fire. As it turns out, it is also an amazing place for a photo shoot.

Today on our blog we are featuring an engagement shoot with Neftali and Miguel. Where do we start? They both are awesome, chill, relaxed and love taking the time to enjoy life. They appreciate the company of good friends and love dogs. Oso and Kalua are both young pups full of energy and love running around the beach.

When they pitched the idea of a chalk paint inspired shoot we instantly fell in love with the idea. Cape Kiwanda was the natural choice for such a fun concept. We waited a couple weeks to find a non-rainy day and we headed out to the beach for something special. It was so fun! At the end of the shoot we found a spot, dug a pit, made a fire and chilled next to it.

Both Neftali and Miguel are amazing individuals and we can’t wait for their June wedding. Check out some of our favorite images from that day and from the Portland shoot.
