Jessica and Fermin are a fun couple and their wedding day was just that: Fun! One thing that always touches us personally is family and this wedding day was marked by love and family.
Jessica chose to get ready at the home of Fermin’s family in Lacey Washington. Upon arriving they all greeted us with hugs and kisses, offered us traditional Mexican bread and a warm drink. This was just a glimpse of what the rest of the day would be like.
They opened up their home to us and allowed us to shoot around the property. This particular morning was quite literally freezing. The grass was covered in a thin layer of frost. Evergreen pine trees glistened with sparkling ice from the sunlight working through the branches. Reminded us of the cold mornings in central Oregon.
The ceremony was held locally at the Kingdom Hall. The reception was celebrated at the Centralia Square Grand Ballroom and Hotel. A few minutes after the newlyweds entered the ballroom, the family surprised them with a live mariachi band. Dinner consisted of a traditional Mexican dish. After the meal they took the time to greet family and friends at each table.
Fermín is naturally a gentlemen and Jessica is naturally energetic with a positive attitude. We hope to have done this day justice in capturing their wedding story. Below are a few of our favorite images.
